Nike and Marc Newson collaborated and created the Modulo shoe. A sock-like inner shoe, with a rubber sole and a bright blue plastic outer layer. Marc Newson got his inspiration when he was working at the Russian Space Institute and looked at pictures of astronauts who jumped with special socks on the walls of their space ships for exercise. A great addition to the recent trend of product and fashion designer trainers.
